In today’s crowded digital landscape, distinguishing a brand is a challenge. When tasked with creating a standout campaign for Chappies in Mozambique, we had one clear mission: to cultivate brand affection and drive conversions among both consumers and traders.

Chappies aimed to elevate both engagement and sales, while solidifying its position as a fun and beloved brand in Mozambique. To accomplish this, they needed a strategy that resonated across diverse audiences—from local markets to digital spaces—while staying true to their lively personality.

Our Approach

We played an integral role in shaping the visual and conceptual identity of the campaign. Collaborating with the EM Creative Agency, we crafted an activation that was not only memorable but also impactful:

    We developed a campaign theme centered on curiosity and playfulness, aligning seamlessly with Chappies’ brand essence.
    • Tagline: Unwrapping Curiosity
    • The strategy engaged both consumers and traders through interactive and purpose-driven activities.
  2. Creative Design and Branding:
    • Designed all campaign materials, from posters and banners to branded vans and containers.
    • Ensured visual consistency across both digital platforms and in-person activations.
  3. Trader Activations:
    • Organized interactive trader events at the Zimpeto and Xiqulene markets.
    • Developed engaging mechanics that encouraged Chappies purchases through fun activities, giveaways, and product sampling.
  4. Influencer Partnerships:
    Collaborated with local influencer Eunice Andrade Valgy to amplify the campaign’s reach and connect with a younger demographic.

The Results

The campaign proved to be a major success, delivering impressive results that surpassed expectations:

  • Sales Growth: Significant increases in sales and conversions were achieved in both markets.
