Introduction

When LookUp TV sought to refresh its brand identity and enhance its visual appeal, we stepped in as graphic designers with a focus on motion graphics. The objective was clear: transition the station from its Christian-themed visuals to a more universal and contemporary look, all while preserving its core values.

The Challenge

LookUp TV was in the midst of a transformation and required a cohesive visual identity that would appeal to a broader, more diverse audience. The task was to overhaul everything from show posters to TV commercials and live show graphics, ensuring a seamless integration of the new branding across all production elements.

Our Approach

  1. Rebranding the Station
    • Redesigned the overall visual identity, shifting away from a Christian-specific theme to a modern, universal aesthetic.
    • Developed a new, cohesive theme that unified the station’s visual elements, ensuring consistency across posters, intros, and lower thirds.
  2. Show Posters and Intros
    • Revamped the show posters to give them a sleek and modern look.
    • Recreated intros and news bumpers for most shows to align with the updated branding and tone.
  3. Live Graphics Management
    • Designed and managed lower thirds and other live graphics for both live and recorded shows.
    • Collaborated closely with producers, directors, journalists, anchors, sound engineers, camera operators, and the transmission team to ensure smooth execution.
  4. Commercial Production
    • Produced a variety of TV commercials, including one that became a recurring ad for the station, helping to strengthen its visual presence.

The Impact

Through collaboration and creative problem-solving, the rebranding resulted in a fresher, more professional look for LookUp TV. This cohesive visual identity not only enhanced the station’s aesthetic appeal but also positioned it as an inclusive platform that resonated with a wider, more diverse audience.
